The channel name “NoULEZ” refers to opposition to London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) cameras, a scheme implemented to improve air quality. The creator of the video confirmed to Snopes that the footage was indeed captured in London and pertains to ULEZ cameras.
The ULEZ cameras are part of a government initiative to monitor vehicle emissions and improve air quality in London. Opponents of the ULEZ program have raised concerns about privacy and the financial impact of fines on drivers. In the past, these cameras have been vandalized by individuals who refer to themselves as “Blade Runners.”
