For example, an M1 Abrams tank typically has a crew of four, not five, and the physical layout of the tank makes the described rescue through the commander’s hatch implausible for that many individuals. Additionally, the story implies the soldiers were unharmed despite being in a burning tank, while the dog allegedly suffered catastrophic injuries.
Furthermore, evidence suggests the story and accompanying images were generated using artificial intelligence. The Medal of Honor depicted in some images appears to be a non-authentic version, and the details in the various shared images are inconsistent, with different dogs and altered ceremonial scenes.
