However, an investigation reveals that the video is fabricated. There is no evidence to support the claim that Bondi and Trump had such a recorded conversation, nor that MSNBC host Rachel Maddow broadcast a transcript of it. Searches for keywords like “Trump Bondi call” and “Rachel Maddow Trump call” have not yielded any credible reports from major news organizations.
Furthermore, an analysis of the video using an AI detection tool indicated a high probability of it being AI-generated. Close examination of the audio also reveals characteristics common in AI-generated content, such as robotic tones, unnatural pauses, and speech patterns. Fact-checkers have confirmed that this is a fabricated edit, with no evidence of Pam Bondi recording Trump. Her May 2026 House interview resulted in a written transcript, and she reportedly declined to discuss any conversations with the President.
