Claim:
A widely shared screenshot allegedly shows a Truth Social post from U.S. President Donald Trump dated September 2026, featuring the text: “I have spoken to God and he has given me a vision of an ocean filled with blood a city of dust a golden throne for me to sit on, eternally!!!, Tonight is Armageddon, the final judgement of good and evil!!!!”
Rating:
Fake
In the autumn of 2026, an image circulated across social media platforms like Instagram, Threads, and Facebook, leading many users to believe that Donald Trump had published a bizarre and apocalyptic message.
The fabricated post read in full:
“I have spoken to God and he has given me a vision of an ocean filled with blood a city of dust a golden throne for me to sit on, eternally!!!, Tonight is Armageddon, the final judgement of good and evil!!!! Lock your doors and do not directly at the flash!!!! God bless us all!!!”
— President Donald J. Trump
Despite utilizing a username matching Trump’s official Truth Social handle, the post is entirely fictitious. Investigations into the origin of the image trace its first appearance to a Polish account on X, where the user explicitly captioned it, “Well, fake, but would you be surprised?”
A thorough check of archival records containing Trump’s Truth Social posts shows no trace of the word “Armageddon” in relation to this quote. Furthermore, a review of all statements published by Trump on September 22, 2026, reveals no matching timestamps or content.
While the bogus quote mirrors real-world controversies—such as whistleblower reports regarding military commanders invoking divine intervention during actions in Iran, and past instances of Trump utilizing apocalyptic rhetoric or facing criticism for AI-generated imagery depicting him in religious contexts—this specific message was never written or shared by the U.S. President.
