The authentic broadcast, originally aired by Fox News, shows the president walking at a measured pace before getting into his vehicle, with no falls or stumbles. Experts also pointed out digital anomalies in the fake video, such as a frame where a Secret Service agent’s body bizarrely blends into the car. Furthermore, AI-detection tools like Hive Moderation flagged the clip as likely artificial.
Despite being debunked, the newest manipulated video gained steam as users online leveraged it to poke fun at the president. Remarks ranged from internet jabs about diapers providing “cushioning” to sarcastic claims that he tripped over himself.
