Framed by the uploader as a “rare truthful post,” the content left several online users wondering if the administration had actually issued the remarks.
Claim: White House criticized Trump in a social media post
The widely circulated post, originating from the handle @TheBabylonBibi, featured what looked like a genuine X (formerly Twitter) update from the White House.
The simulated post displayed a well-known quote associated with Trump: “A snake is a snake. Don’t be surprised when it bites. THE SNAKE.” It was accompanied by a caption labeling it a “Rare Truthful post” originating from the White House.
Additionally, the post included video footage of Trump reciting the parable of ‘The Snake’—an allegory he has historically used during political events and rallies to illustrate his stance on immigration and border control.
Because the format mimicked an official government communication, the post quickly gained traction, accumulating over 8,000 views and drawing a flurry of reactions. While some users immediately recognized the humor, others expressed disbelief. One commenter joked, “Is that a social media Freudian slip?” Another wrote, “White House labeled Trump a serpent. Time to read Revelations, y’all.” A third added, “That’s absolutely incredible.”
