This false claim emerged shortly after Trump did share an AI-generated image of himself with John F. Kennedy on July 27th. Prior to that, on July 26th, Trump had posted a series of AI-generated images on Truth Social that targeted various public figures. These included late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and Stephen Colbert, as well as former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Bruce Springsteen. Another AI image depicted Rosie O’Donnell in an Irish-themed setting.
