Luna discussed these concerns during an appearance on ‘Straight Shooter with Stephen A. Smith.’ She stated that her efforts to declassify Epstein-related documents revealed evidence destruction occurring under a former FBI deputy director. Luna further alleged that a cyberattack took place while Epstein and Maxwell were under investigation in New York.
She was quoted as saying, “We uncovered destruction of evidence under the former deputy director of the FBI.” Luna also mentioned pressing Attorney General Pam Bondi for the release of the Epstein files, noting that the issue became political and that the full files may never be released due to the aforementioned cyberattack. She expressed doubt about having “the full deck of cards here specifically about Jeffrey Epstein.”
While Luna has voiced concerns about the handling of records and championed the SHRED Act in 2025 to prevent improper destruction of federal documents, her specific claims about evidence destruction and the permanent incompleteness of the files remain unconfirmed by independent public reports.
