Loomer’s posts detailed that a high-level White House source had informed her McConnell was not expected to recover and was allegedly declared brain-dead by doctors.
Prior to these claims, political outlets had reported that emergency responders admitted McConnell to a hospital on June 14, 2026, after he was found unconscious at his Washington, DC, residence. Around the same period, reporter Desiree Townsend shared EMS audio referencing Advanced Life Support protocols for critically ill patients. Townsend also echoed Loomer’s assertions on July 6, stating she had received similar information from her sources and was anticipating McConnell’s eventual removal from life support.
However, as of July 7, 2026, these viral claims remain unsubstantiated. A representative for McConnell stated he was continuing his recovery in the hospital and actively collaborating with his staff.
