An image circulated online in July 2026, purportedly showing Donald Trump’s aide Natalie Harp carrying a bag filled with adult diapers for the president. The image depicted Harp holding a black handbag that appeared to contain several white items, with a man in a military uniform walking behind her.
This image, however, has been digitally manipulated. The original photograph was taken by a Daily Mail photographer on April 16, 2024, and featured Harp alongside another Trump advisor, Margo Martin. In the authentic photo, it was Martin, not Harp, who was holding the black handbag with white objects inside, the nature of which remains unclear.
The doctored image exhibits clear signs of editing, including the addition of a military figure absent from the original and a visibly distorted depiction of Harp’s hand holding the bag. The exact method of alteration, whether through traditional editing software or artificial intelligence, could not be confirmed.
The original photo was taken at Manhattan Criminal Court during the second day of Trump’s “hush money” trial. Trump was subsequently found guilty of 34 felony charges related to a scheme to influence the 2016 election.
This is not the first time claims about Natalie Harp have been fact-checked. Previously, a baseless rumor alleged she was secretly working as Trump’s hospice nurse, and another unfounded claim suggested an affair between them. Harp is known for her close association with Trump, reportedly acting as his “closest confidant” and delivering personal notes. She has also been described as “the human printer” for her alleged practice of printing favorable news items for Trump.
